account linking
I have already chatted with EA support on Twitter and Live Chat.
Situation:
Old EA Account is attached to my gamertag, which is a problem because the email that was used to create it over 10 years ago does not exist (ie service provider deleted it). I didn't even know this old EA Account existed until I tried to play Dragon Age on my xbox and it logged me into it.
Now this is a problem because my EA Play subscription is tied to an account I cannot ever access again. I can't access the six questions they gave me when the email verification was deemed impossible, because it would require me to have knowledge about an account I didn't even remember existed until recently.
I was able to login (and for some reason it had me update my information like my name and public ID) through xbox live, but I cannot change anything unless I verify it through the non-existent email address.
Do you see the loop problem? I am in identity purgatory.
I am who I say I am. I have been apparently using my EA play membership through it.
I don't care what happens to the old account as long as my gamertag is unlinked and my EA play is transfered to my active account.
Xbox cannot do anything as it is the third party that does the linking. My old email company does not have any way to revive the account. HELP ME PLEASE!
I have been using a different EA account actively for around 7 years
