Cannot play game on PS5 now that EA Play has expired

Hello,

I bought Star Wars Battlefront 2 via EA Play on my PS4.

I have since got a PS5 and started to play the game on there, but now my EA Play subscription has expired, I can’t play the game anymore!

Please can you advise on what I can do? When I try and play the game it says ‘Can’t use this content. Your license can’t be verified.’

    @Lukeozade58291  To confirm if you Purchase the game Separately you would retain access to it, as one of the EA Play benefits is a discount on certain EA Games.

    Did you purchase BF2 as well as purchase the EA Play sub, or did you just download it through the subscription?

    @Lukeozade58291 To confirm did you download it through EA Play, or purchase it separately as well? When you subscribe to EA Play you do not get the games in the Play List permanently but instead, have access to them as long as you are subscribed.

    Downloaded through EA Play - I had no idea it was like that, otherwise I wouldn’t have purchased the product.

    I bought FIFA 22 and got it cheaper through EA Play and I can still play FIFA 22 even though my subscription has expired.

    Shouldn’t Star Wars be the same?
