Can't play online modes even if I have EA PLAY subscription

My Xbox live and EA accounts are linked (although different email addresses), I bought EA FC24 on Xbox (for bigger market), but I can't play online modes, the game would redirect me to Game Pass subscription options. I thought you could use EA Play membership to play online

    Hi there @omegaquack 

    You would need a Game Pass membership on your Xbox in order to play and access online modes for your games. An EA Play membership alone does not include a Game Pass membership, however if you have Game Pass Ultimate on your Xbox, that membership does include both EA Play and online access.

    I would also like to know if I only had core, will I be able to play online modes like rivals?

    Went from 17 to 38 dollars cad in three months that's upsurd
