Can't unlink non-existing Xbox account
I'm having an issue where I'm trying to link my Xbox account to my EA Play account through Game Pass, but it says there's already an Xbox account called "tmpQL0A73J" linked to my EA account (file attached for error message). If I look up this account on Xbox it does not seem to exist. The tmp in the name points towards it being some sort of temporary account I guess.
When I go to unlink my account on the EA website, it shows no Xbox account at all so there's no way for me to unlink it there. Is there any way to fix this?
The problem you will face here is even if you unlink that Xbox account you won't be able to add a different one to your EA account as only one can ever be linked in your EA accounts lifetime.
If you do want to try unlinking it but can't do it manually then you will need to speak with an EA adviser and verify your EA account details so they can remove it for you.
