Does XBOX Game pass saves transfer to Steam?

Good day,

I have XBOX Game Pass ultimate which includes EA Play. I was wondering the following; If I play games using EA Play/XBOX Game pass. And I decide to buy the game on Steam. Do my save files transfer over/synchronize? Both platforms would need the EA Desktop app either way so I'd assume my saves would be synchronized in my EA account and they should transfer over no problem. But I can't find any confirmation nor any additional information about this anywhere. Thanks in advance for the response.
