Double subscription error

I keep getting error that says I have double subscription, friends don't let friends pay for something twice.

I tried to reach support through chat, est. wait time was 6 minutes, but after 3 hours I gave up. Case is marked as resolved for some reason. 

I tried then to go through refund but it says I don't have any games that I can ask refund for.

Then I cancelled one sub, but I paid for a year and this error keeps showing up, I can't install anything, can't play, can't use EA Client at all.

    I'd recommend contacting live support so they can review your membership details and get your annual membership cancelled immediately, rather than waiting until the renewal period.

    Hi @TheS0m3Guy 

    Do you have an EA Play membership for PC as well as a membership through Game Pass on your Xbox? If you have Game Pass, EA Play is included with that membership, so you wouldn't need a second membership on your PC.

    Yes, that's not the issue. The issue is that because the annual subscription is still ongoing, the EA App keeps popping up with the message to cancel one of the subscriptions, but since the cancellation won't occur until the annual renewal date, the error pops up continuously, sometimes to the point of not being able to actually access the contents of the app to play games at all. It's not about whether or not we NEED a second membership, it's that we can't make one of them go away, so the app aggressively reminds us that we're double subscribed, even when a cancellation has already been processed.

    I personally am NOT looking forward to dealing with this pop up issue until the end of April when my annual renewal is up, and I don't have interest in converting my credit to pro, which seem to be the only 2 options.

    Not sure why I have 2 messages but for some reason one is invisible for me. So here we go again, but in less details since I guess someone felt offended and removed my previous post.

    Support is useless. They can't do anything except suggesting removal ea play from steam (which I don't use, don't pay for)
