[EA app] Xbox Game Pass Unable to install multiple titles

@Paulnoah5407 Can you break down what is happening on your end?

on the xbox app i tried to install it on game pass and i have xbox game pass ultimate and it takes me to the ea store and it wants me to buy it or get monthly to play why is this happening?

@Vertutame That is incorrect. It has nothing to do with paying twice. 

@Paulnoah5407 If you have Game Pass Ultimate, it does include EA Play for Xbox yes. When you open up the game or try to install a game and it asks you to purchase it, typically is it because the Xbox account you are on isn't not linked to the right EA account, or there is a sync issue.

Log into EA.com with your EA account. Go into the connections tab and make sure the right Gamertag is linked. If not, check out the Unlink a platform article it will provide you with all the steps to resolve that part.

If the correct accounts are linked, try the following steps:

• Close the EA app.
• navigate to the Xbox app
• Go to settings (click your name top left corner)
• Select "extensions"
• Disable the extension for the EA App 
• Locate the game you want to download on the Xbox app
• You'll notice that the install selection has now gone away and been replaced by an option asking you to "enable extension" 
• Enable the EA app extension
• The Xbox app should then launch the EA app automatically
• Once you see the EA app open, you should now be allowed to select an SSD/HDD to install the game

@Paulnoah5407 @Vertutame Are you still having issues with the Xbox App and Game Pass and installing or playing games?

Hello everyone.

Starting today, all the games that I try to download from ea play are not running and the ones that were installed are not showing on ea app.

I tried uninstalling and downloading again, but the download does not start.
Tried other games that i didn't have but also did not work.

This is only happening with the ea play.
I have EA WRC bought and i can download this one.

I have a xbox gamepass pc account that i have linked with my ea account.

I changed my Microsoft account's email about a month ago, and then today, I opened EA App to play F1 23 which was available on EA Play, I noticed all of my games are removed from library except what I actually bought. So I checked my membership tab on EA App, It showed that I still have EA Play + Xbox Gamepass membership, but when I checked my membership on myaccount.ea.com , It says my EA Play has expired. So I unlinked my xbox account on the website and linked again but those games were still unavailable. Now I can't even unlink again till october. I don't even know how to fix it at this point.

Games I've played with EA Play are:
F1 23
F1 22
Need For Speed Unbound
Need For Speed Hotpursuit Remastered

Need For Speed Heat
Need For Speed Mostwanted

Grid Legends

Battlefield 2042

only F1 23 and Need For Speed Mostwanted installed right now. So I tried to make ea app detect my f1 23 by installing it on same location, but it just gave me an error.

in mostwanted's case, I have mostwanted on steam, but not installed from steam because I've been playing it with ea play before buying it on steam. when I hover over mouse cursor on play button, it says "current game's incompatible version is installed, uninstall ea app version to play"

I am having the same issue and multiple other people are reporting it on various social media platforms. Seems there is a break in the connection between Game Pass and EA play.

Suddenly can’t connect xbox gamepass to EA. I’ve already downloaded and played F1 2023 but now all ea games can’t be used from gamepass
