When trying to launch it displays error in attached screen shot. From reading forums there is a way to ovecome this, but it involves jumping trough many hoops to achive it. If steam was willing to refund my purchase, I woudn´t even be here. From my understanding, there infralink of sorts between the 2 iterations of membersip connceted to linking EA and steam accounts, that makes these games work, but linking is hardly perfect and should be inmproved in oredr to eliminate this problem.

Could you please perform an EA app recovery and after that verify the game's files via Steam, where afterwards you start the game via Steam again to see if the issue persists?
