EA Play Pro games need repair but never finish repairing

My EA Play Pro Games need repair but never finish repairing. I bought EA Play Pro specifically for PGA TOUR and Star Wars Jedi Survivor both of which I played a little before logging on one day and they both need "repairing" so I click repair and it will start a progress bar that will get to 100% and then reset back to some random percentage and the download will start over. Only the download never finishes. It's an infinite loop of getting to 100% and then restarting at a random percentage. This is extremely bothersome as I can't launch the games at all and I can't find a solution or a quick way to ahold of anybody at EA at all besides this.

Side note: Ive already tried things like uninstalling and reinstalling the games/ The EA app, making sure my app/windows/BIOS is up to date to no avail

@ProfessrFinessr2 Hey, see if the following help you out with this one.

    Delete Windows Temp Files

    • First, make sure you close as many programs as you can
    • Press the Windows key + R, go into the file explorer
    • Type in %temp%, and hit Enter
    • Delete everything it allows you to delete
    • Reboot the PC

    Optional Registry clean-up

    • install CCleaner (it's free) from here
    • Run Registry cleaner
    • Click review selected issues
    • Do you want to back up? No
    • Click Fix all selected issues
    • Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
    • EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
    • EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)

Then close the EA App and run the updater as Admin from the install folder.

  • I appreciate the quick reply. Im going through the steps now. Forgive my ignorance, but to what are you referring when you say run the updater as admin?

@ProfessrFinessr2 Basically you run the Ea app launcher from C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop as Admin
