Had the same issue. I cancelled my pre-order of the full game and now the trial works
@SwankyBlobfish What do you mean you cancelled your pre-order?
I preordered the standard edition of the game on my xbox. And once it had downloaded I had the "trail has expired" error. So I refunded the preorder on xbox and now the trail works.

How can you refund your pre order if you already installed the game?
Not a clue I’ve tried to refund standard edition which isn’t even out yet so I can buy the ultimate as this trial isn’t working and it’s denying my request. Ea are thieving jokesters
