There are too many complaints on this matter since October 1st. I'm from Brazil and I got kicked out of the game just when the clock moved to 0AM October 1st (São Paulo Time), with 5 hours still left on trial period, and was never able to get in again.
Most people still have hours left on the trial period, not being a simple case of having no time left. This is informed when you launch the game, what happens is that when you hit "Play" (or something like it), we get a message saying that the content is unavailable and that we have to buy in order to play.
The FIFA 22 Trial item on PS5 is locked (has a little locker right next the EA logo). I tried unistalling the game just to download it again, but the Trial option is just missing on PS5, so I couldn't do it.
Please check this. There is another issue, probably related to the same failure: people being unable to buy the game due to an active trial period. As I said, this is affecting a lot of EA Play clients, check the forum or Twitter for similar complaints.
