@moopoints Hey, wanted to reach out and see if you were still having an issue with no games showing on the PS5.
Hey there and thanks for checking in. No, this isn't resolved yet. I can't download any of the games yet. All games will have a button prompting me to subscribe to EA Play even though I'm already on the EA Play Pro plan.

Gotcha, so EA Play Pro is only on PC. PS has just a basic EA Play sub. If it is asking you to purchase the sub, that Sony account is not entitled for an EA Play subscription.
If you purchased the Pro version, that means you would have that sub on the EA App, not the console.
If you log into profile.ea.com and check your subs, you can see what that EA account has. If you do not see that there, you would need to reach out to Sony to see what account has that sub tied to it. Wow, thanks for clarifying this. EA does not mention this at all on their payment / plans page. Feels pretty misleading to me.
Logging into my profile.ea.com I see the EA Play Pro subscription attached to my account.
I reached out to EA a few days ago but haven't heard back.

Oh yeah, I can totally see how that would be confusing for sure. It does show this on the EA Play site itself. I sent that feedback over to the team to look at what changes can be made on that one.
Thanks, I appreciate that. Yea, you would never expect when you view a table like that, that the more expensive plan would not also include all the features the cheaper plan offers.
Is there any update moving forward to allow EA Play Pro to be used on Console? The main reason I got EA Play Pro was to play Madden and NHL, just to find out NHL is not playable on PC. Then I purchased a PS5 thinking I could play NHL as my accounts are linked and still no. Why did EA make it like this? Shouldn't players that have EA Play Pro be grandfathered in as EA Play? It is the more expensive version of the subscription....How does this make any sense on the business side of things? So you don't want me to play the games?
Couldn't agree more. It's been 10 days and I still haven't heard back from EA's customer support.

@LeoTheSphinx At the moment, the team has not released any info on that being a part of it but they constantly make updates. Without official word from them, we cannot honestly answer those questions because we cannot make official statements that have not yet been released. Personally I'm all for the grandfathered clause with subs. - EA_Shepard3 years ago

@moopoints I passed along your case for review. If you see EA Play Pro on your EA Profile, that means you own it for PC. If you want it for PS, you have to sub through the console. That is a completely separate sub than the PC version since the sub is based on your Sony account not your EA account. If you don't want it on PC, you would just log into your EA profile, cancel the sub and request a refund on it. This way you arent waiting for replies on a case that does not apply to being able to download on the console.
