Upgrade from EA play to Pro

So I recently purchased EA play on Steam (annual payment), after doing some research have realized that I would like to upgrade to the pro version, however as I purchased it on steam there doesn't seem to be a way for me to upgrade to Pro without paying for both subscriptions. I don't want to be $40NZD out of pocket and have to pay for the Pro version as well, surely there is something EA can do for me without me having to pay both subscriptions?

    Hey @jakepaige our membership is available on each platform for $4.99, or regional equivalent. There is no cross platform subscription at this time. As such if you wish to use EA Play on different platforms then you will need an active membership on each.

    @EA_Darko Hi Thanks for the reply, I'm not wanting to play on different platforms now, I purchased on steam without knowing about the pro option on origin, I'm wanting to get my money back from the steam purchase as I purchased a year and then upgrade to the pro version on origin instead. Thanks

    @EA_Darko ok thank you, hopefully they give me one or I won’t be able to afford the pro version for a year
