@2NYZ3 I have the same problem/bug, for example, I finish the race in third position, but it tells me that I finished 6th. Some other driver also changes position.

@happyass95 It’s because of a glitch with the red flag system. Happened to me twice already. You’ll finish the race with the same position as you were whenever the red flag happened. The only fix for it now is disable the res flag.

@Soares_Felipim Yeah it's the red flag that's the issue. Look, as gamers we don't have a clue what goes into writing the code to implement a red flag. You may think it's trivial, "Oh why aren't there red flags?" This is a big reason, it's not a trivial algorithm, the game runs states constantly, monitoring positions, managing lap times, all the AI behaviour, penalties etc. a red flag is a whole different scenario where the game has to pause and take a sortof screenshot of the racing positions in the state when the red flag was thrown. The issue there is the game still recognises that order upon finishing the race so they have to figure out why it's only interested in the data that was at the red flag event rather than the final race result. Be patient like you say and just leave them off for now.

Hi,
I just saw you have not yet get a reply on your question for a Video.
Attached you find the Bug happening.
I filmed the moment the Red Flag happened and the end of the race where you can see that the order of fhe finishing positions gets mixed up.
Unfortunately I forgot about the Report Code...
Settings are a 50% race on PS5 Driver Career Mode and Red Flags & Safety Car are set to increased... In case that matters.

Me too.
I had an epic final 12-laps battle with Verstappen & Perez on full race distance, in My Team, race in Bahrain.
I crossed the finish line 1st, with Verstappen 2nd, and Perez 3rd, some 12-seconds ahead of Russel in 4th. However, the official finishing positions, and Podium celebrations, were Russel 1st, myself 2nd, and Sainz 3rd.
Neither Verstappen, Perez, or I had any time penalties.

I also encountered this today.
I finished a Canadian GP (50% distance) in My Team, came first. +6.536 ahead of Perez. +8.559 ahead of Verstappen... the game ended up saying that I'd finished the race in third and -7.272 behind Perez in P1.
How do I finish 6.5 seconds ahead of Perez in-game but after the cutscenes, I somehow lose 14 seconds and "finish third"? I also got awarded the 16 points for third place. I was penalty free too.
I also ended up having a red flag that saw Bottas crash out at the turn 12 hairpin, and after the restart, I had an immediate red flag again for no reason. I believe this to be a cause, but haven't been able to replicate a red flag again to test this hypothesis.

yeah, I had a Red Flag during my race, which was when Russell was in front of me.
I'm gonna disable Red Flags now. Pity...
