No Sound F1 23 after launching game

I have the same problem. I have sound now but the other cars produce no sound. So I have no idea there is a car behind me. I feel alone on track. No sound coming from engineer too

I have also tried using different headphones, changing sound output device while in game, changing sound settings in game, restarting my pc, and repairing the game using the EA app, the issue persists.

Thanks for the reply. DirectX should be version 12 (any, not specific so Windows 10 or Windows 11) and there is no advice on Windows other than 21H1 or higher.

Windows 10 users with automatic updates set should be forced to 22H2.

Windows 11 users could be on 21H2 or 22H2 as it's not mandatory to update yet.

I can see it varies given people's dxdiag but to my knowledge hasn't affected anyone's ability to play given updates and drivers.

Also post dxdiag then please, ensure you have mainboard make and model in dxdiag or post it with the .txt file

Yeah also on pc. I haven’t played the game much until today when I have started my career and I picked up the problem. I am pretty certain all was fine when I did an online game earlier this week 

What audio mix are you using in the audio options?

I have tried all options. Cinematic, broadcast and driver. I have noticed that the other cars are very very soft. I can only hear them briefly once they pass me. My engine noise is too loud. My settings are all turned up to max 

Same here, I get the intro full sound but as soon I select start and loading starts all sounds get in a way muffled to a sort of low noise buzz. But something is wierd as I noticed you ask the OP to post a video, so I decided to make a video Nvidia recording. But as my sound is muffled ingame, when I watch my video there is sound and music? Very strange.......
