AI no longer makes mistakes

They fixed the artificial intelligence to make less braking mistakes, but now they don't make any more mistakes. It's very rare to experience a spin on the track or bad braking after the update. AI does not They make more mistakes, and as a result there are no safety cars or red flags because no one makes mistakes

  • +1 on this so it can be seen by devs. The amount of mistakes was one of the greatest improvements as the race was unexpectable. Now its all robotic. 99% of the race is clean, if some of AI does a little mistake they get back to the track with no issues. There are no SC, no Red Flags even on the increased option, which is sad. AI needs to do more mistakes, breaking late while fighting you, going off track or spin.

@Pafykz Tbf how many race defining mistakes do you see IRL? Not many so the many mistakes the AI made before patch was unrealistic, it might be a bit too little but compared to the real problems the AI has this is a minor one..

Late breaking is something they definitely need though, not just for the player but to fight other AI aswell but going off track or spinning is very rare IRL so i cant really see a reason why it should happen often ingame
  • You can see a lot of mistakes going on, in race, in training sessions, nobody is talking about spinning all the time, but you see mistakes very often, going off track is a case multiple times in a race.. in the game you never see go anyone off track, maybe they late brake, once per 3 races. And almost no mistakes in the training. It's boring and wrong. When the game got released you could see them late break and go off track couple of times per race and that was realistic. This is robotic and no fun.

  • Strangely, this hasn't been my experience after 1.7.  Out of 4 Career races, I saw AI making mistakes in three of them, and got a SC in one due to AI colliding with one another.

@GrumpsMcDumps Seems quite realistic to me.. Different to what F1 manager does where (your) rookies destroy the car so often you can barely do anything but make new Chassis and that without them even pushing😂 Drivers dont make many mistakes IRL and if they do you get a replay of it. The drivers themselfes see way less mistakes probably similar to what you saw, many lockups or such wont get recognized by drivers unless the rewatch every lap from every driver afterwards..
