Career Mode Game Crash

Ive got this exact same issue, Ive mid session saved before in this game but this issue came up at the canadian grand prix for me

Platform Xbox Series X

I have a mid session Driver Career Mode save which crashes everytime I open it. This only started to happen after the update 

This happened to me today. I was racing in Australia Grand Prix during carreer and I had to restart my game because communication radio glitched and I couldn't talk to the engineer. I saved the session mid race and closed the game. Now everytime I try to return to my race the game keeps crashing. I don't want to lose my progress, I hope they find a solution quick.

Has there been any update for this? I have the same issue just now on Xbox Series X. Your instructions don't do anything for this platform.

For my issue, I made a mid session save in full GP at Netherlands. I have opened the game as I usually do, gone into driver career mode to continue and the file is there showing the save at Netherlands. I click the file and it just goes to a black screen then takes me back to my Xbox home page.
