Myself and two other friends are experiencing this issues. Upon opening the game we will be met with a communicating with online servers message every 5 seconds. The only fix we have found so far is opening the mailbox, letting it load then backing out which solves the issue. I am led to believe this is an issue with the mailbox attachments
You probably have unclaimed items/ rewards in your mailbox somewhere. The game keeps communicating with the server because it wants to validate those items, once you claim them it should stop doing that.
The mailbox has always been an issue for me in all past games probably time for them to remove it completely it doesn't work and just give you the rewards as you earn them this would be a much easier solution because they haven't solved it in six years.
But if you're on Xbox and use quick resume you can bypass it going to F1 world dashboarding load another game then exit quick resume F1 go straight to a race then quit the race and the messages go away it only works on Xbox.
Yes but one page of mailbox items shouldn't make the game behave this way. Not just on my game but my friends also. I've cleared my mailbox now but how is this even an issue present in a AAA game
It's ridiculous, so unoptimized. Amateur even.
