Customising OSD doesn't save changes

Product: F1 24
Platform:Xbox Series X
Please specify your platform model. Microsoft Xbox Series X
Summarize your bug Trying to customize my OSD on TV Pod camera, I move the widgets around to the positions I want them, go back and I get a warning that my changes have not been saved, I select confirm changes and go back to driving, the widgets are still in their default position
What is your 16 digit Report Code? RBBJ-RRBB-SSBB-GTJG
What peripherals are you using? Please list the exact make and model. Logitech Trueforce G923
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? Cosmote
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Start time trial 2. Start driving 3.Go to pause menu and select OSD customization 4. Move your widgets around ( I just put my HUD higher). I am also using the TV Pod Camera 5. Press "B" when you finish and then "B" to return to the pause screen 6. Observe the Pop-up that appears, warning you that the changes you made have not been saved 7. Select to confirm changes 8. Go bacck to driving 9. The OSD is back to its default state, no changes made. 10. Go back to OSD customization -> your changes have been saved there 11. Go back to driving -> Still OSD in its default state, non of the changes have been saved
What happens when the bug occurs? Even when you save the changes you made in the OSD and even if under the customization screen your changes are saved, when you are playing the game you still get the default OSD state
What do you expect to see? I expect the changes I made and saved to be applied to my OSD when I am driving

Yes but that is a workaround and most probably not an intentional one! They should fix the bug and offer this functionality the proper way. I mean another thing I noticed in My Career mode, the OSD is as I want during race and not saving (it's back to default) in practice and qualifying

  • In F1 23 there was a similar problem, It didn‘t save the OSD Changes in TT. That was then patched.

In F1 24 I realized that the Button to change the different views (Race, Quali, TT, Practice, Elimination) is INVISIBLE by Default if I the last keys I used were on the Wheel. So if I navigate into the menu via wheel, the button to change the views at the bottom of the screen is missing, whereas normally all buttons to use in a particular game dialogue are shown there.

Only if I then tap F9 (bc I know that was the button to change the views in F1 23) the button magically appears at the bottom. It don’t know whether that’s specific with my configuration or button layout and this of course only works for PC, but I think there’s a slight change, that people experiencing this issue are in the wrong view by default when selecting the menu during TT.

Again this is a workaround, they need to fix it to work properly
