Force feedback not working on Xbox series X
Hey there,
Which peripherals are you using?

Forcefeed back not working on Logitech G923
I suppose it's the same issue as last year with trueforce
Could you try to update the wheel to the latest version of G Hub?

Another year of f1 and another year of terrible testing once again. G923 steering wheel with intermittent true force kicking in but no physical force feedback with up to date settings before you blame it on that…
- ha6hk3w77mwj2 years agoSeasoned Veteran@ryanoliver21 It’s unbelievable that the same gamebreaking bugs are present every year. I hope people learnt from ‘23 and didn’t buy the champions edition and payed €30 to play 3 day’s early wich is impossible with the bugs. It’s the same every year, learn from it

Summarize your bug Force Feedback Stops at Low Speeds: The force feedback on the G29 stops working when driving slowly in F1 2024, but then kicks back in at higher speeds, sometimes causing the wheel to * or lock in one direction. If i try my G29 in F1 2023 it works fine, so its not my G29.
What is your 16 digit Report Code?
What peripherals are you using? Please list the exact make and model. Logitech G29 Driving Force Racing Wheel inklusive Pedals (Playstation Version)
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? Telekom
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? By connecting a G29 wheel that is properly connected to the computer via the GHub app, go into Time Trial mode. When you brake hard, for example, at the first corner in Monza, as you enter the corner (naturally at a slow speed), the force feedback turns off. When you accelerate out of the corner, the force feedback kicks in abruptly and the wheel may * completely to the left or right and stay there.
What happens when the bug occurs? You have to tab out of the game so that the steering wheel can move freely again, but in the end the game is unplayable with the G29. Game braking bug
What do you expect to see? That I can steer normally and that force feedback doesn't go crazy

Have you tried to update everything on G Hub and follow the steps that some players have shared on this thread?

I'm not sure if EA devs are still looking into this issue, but I figured I'd share my experience in here just in case. I just purchased the game a week ago on Steam, and have 4.5 hours of simply troubleshooting this problem. I own and play iRacing, Project Cars 2, F1 2020, and American Truck Simulator, all of which have no FFB issues.
FFB issue I am seeing is that with a Logitech G29 wheel when braking into a slow/medium speed turn the FFB stops responding. If the road goes right and then left (i.e. Belgium/Spa turns 7 and 8) the wheel will get the FFB for the first turn, but nothing changes for the second turn. Feels like the game thinks I am still turning right even though I'm going left. Suddenly I go back on throttle and exit turn 8, and the FFB kicks back in suddenly and unnaturally. In addition, if I spin out in any turn, the FFB turns off. Car will be at a complete standstill and the wheel will try to pull one way or the other. If I pause the game while in this state, it continues to pull. If I exit the course, it continues to pull.
I tried all troubleshooting steps buried in this megathread, none of which worked. One thing I did find helpful, however, was in the G Hub app I turned on "centering spring in non-force feedback games" and turned the "centering spring strength" up to 50. The FFB in the game does still turn off, but I no longer get the sudden kickback when the game's FFB re-enables after turns. This isn't a solution but it does make the game playable with FFB.
Happy to further clarify or answer any questions community mods or devs have.

Resolved my issue. TL;DR I turned on the Frame Rate Limit in settings > graphics > video mode, and set it to 164 FPS (the refresh rate of my monitor). This was off by default. Hope this helps others out.
Long version, I played the game in VR today for the first time and noticed there was no FFB issue in VR. My comp was displaying the game in a small window at a limited FPS, so the first thing I tried was limiting the FPS in non-VR. I changed the game's refresh rate to 164hz (from auto) and then set the frame rate limit to 164 FPS and that fixed the FFB issue immediately. I changed it back and the FFB issue came back. I ran a benchmark with the frame cap off and the image here is of those results, so that'll have my system specs and frame rate stats. Someone else in this forum had mentioned something about finding their fix by changing their graphics settings, but they weren't clear about which setting and their screenshot wasn't in English.
My guess is that the game prioritizes graphics output over controller input/output when at load, so there is some CPU code getting interrupted/skipped which ideally shouldn't be, but hell if I know.

Summarize your bug ⚽ I have absolutely ZERO FFB on track. I have more wheel resistance in the menus. 🏈 If I press the throttle 40% (the game is showing throttle input to 40%), my car will literally MAYBE get to 2kph, and I can NEVER get to full speed. 🏀 The turning is impossible. I can barely make T1 on bahrain, and I have to turn my wheel like 360 degrees to do so, I have played with all sorts of steering angles and NOTHING works. How is this happening on a Fanatec setup, I have literally never had this issue before. Especially on hardware your esports drivers use.

What happens when the bug occurs? No FFB, terrible throttle input, and terrible turning input.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see it fixed...Idk how to answer this question, it is weird.
I just don't understand how in the world Fanatec, the freaking primary esports hardware, isn't working day 1 on this game, when it works fine when I open F1 23 and iRacing.

Can somebody please respond to this issue I am having. It's unreal the lack of responses I am getting on here. Why do I pay for EA Play Pro just not have the ability to play the games?- 2 years ago
It's very frustrating.
It's always the same. They'll probably fix it in a month's time when they decide to abandon TrueForce to make Force Feedback work. Just like last year.
The curious thing is that the G923 works properly in ALL other games.

The controller works fine, but it is a crapshoot when I start each session as to whether or not the Force Feedback works. About half the time that I start a Practice Session, Qualification, Sprint or Race I need to pause the game, crawl out of my racing set up, unplug and replay in the wheel, then the feedback works. I shouldn’t need to do this. To prevent racing without feedback online, I am required to unplug and replay for every session just to be safe.
