Thanks for the heads up, i won't even waste my time plugging in my wheel.
Well off to LMU again.
Hey folks,
I completely understand that this is frustrating, and force feedback is a big part of racing.
I've discussed this with the team as well, but we are not seeing any similar widespread reports. For the very vast majority of players, it's working for them, so these seem to be isolated issues only affecting a few of you. There is not really much we can do about that from our side. I would just ask you again to go through some troubleshooting steps, if nothing works maybe it's worth to reach out to the manufacturer support, if they've got any further specific ideas.

Well g pro force feedback is still almost non existent on f124 but works fine on f123
This is on ps5
Perhaps you could look into that? The game has been out long enough...
And yes, I have tried all the troubleshooting tips, tricks, updates etc
I would love to be able to actually play the game properly

I have a g923.. this last update did the trick for me.. I was also one that had very similar if not the same issues in last years game.. I will say I really feel for those that are still having issues. Frustration is an understatement. This update however did seem to solve the issues for me and the guys I've been talking to that we're having the same issue as I was.. don't know if anyone ever tells the people the run this. So I am. It works!.. I can now race in my league.

I also have to same problem with the ffb. It is said to hear we are a minority and the problem will not be further investigated. So we have to deal with a game which is not behaving like to should do.
Lets hope this problem will disappear by miracle in the next patches.

Ok @EA_Vendcera and other users.
This could be the major solution for Logitech G Pro Users on PS5.
Since I nearly turned off my True Force Audio Effects in the game I now have a lot more FFB than before.
I recommend set True Force Audio on the wheel settings between 0-15.
You will feel a difference in FFB and feeling for the car in-game.
This could be an error, or just not fully compatible with the F1 24-Game if you set your True Force Audio to high.
I also used the settings for the game from Simracingsetups - will upload a screenshot in this post
Maybe you could check that issue @EA_Vendcera and try to develop a fix for future Patches.
Can anyone confirm if the latest patch fixed FFB for G923 AND kept TrueForce in place?
If so I might finally buy the game. Did the handling get sorted too?
This actually helped a little. I set tf audio and in game trueforce setting to 0 and used 110, 20, 20, 10, 30, 70 for the in game vibration settings. Also set ffb filter to 0 and torque to 11nm.
Still weak compared to f123 but at least there is a little ffb coming through now.
Hopefully this doesn't get overlooked and a fix comes soon as its still not the best to play on
- 11 months ago@Rant1588 Try also to set on track force from 20 to at least 40. Dampener could be to high with 70.
Force Feedback is set on 98 in my in-game settings - 11 months ago
So it's definitely giving me a little bit now but it's still so weak compared to last year's game or any game for that matter.
I mean it's set to 11nm and it feels like the equivalent of 3 or 4 nm in f123
- 11 months ago
@Rant1588 yeah, im not trusting my FFB right now, but it seems to be I have to deal with that and compete at league racing.
Other question for me would be, how the FFB feels on other Wheelbases.
A comparison makes me curious.
Otherwise I will not buy any F1 Game anymore.
I feel the lack of support, if the developers would test with the Logitech G Pro, they would recognize, the wheel is right now not fully working with the current F1 Game.
They also were able to fix the FFB also working with True Force in F1 23 after a patch
- 11 months ago
Get use to it. Took them 3 months last game. Never gonna buy a ea game or product again. This is twice now. I can’t believe there making us wait this long again after we have already purchased game. And it’s not like they don’t know about it. There are so many complaints
- 11 months ago
Listen I don’t wanna say anything mate. But last time on f1 2023 u had the ffb problems on the g pro wheel for ps5. And it took over 3 months before you guys at ea even fixed. Am I about to wait that long again? Sure looks that way. Don’t worry I’m deleting game finding new sim game to drive. With my expensive rig that you guys always screw up. Great way to keep customers mate. Beyond me how you guys are in business still. When are u fixing ffb on g pro wheel for ps5?
3 months last f1 game. Bet they will put off again at least 3 months. We already paid mate. Good luck trying to get a discount since a 1/4 of the year u use it u don’t have ffb. No accountability on there end. Absolutely horrible company. At least sell to some one that cares.

@IronGhost38they EA Codemasters Staff do it likes this:
If there is a bug which they know they can fix, they do it, maybe already know before the release this bugs will be in the game.
If there is no FFB like for example with the Logitech Pro Wheel, they pretend like there shouldn't be any bug, players should try to update the wheel first - for example.
Also there is not a majority of the players with the pro wheel.
So it's not worth to work and try a fix for us - 11 months ago
Yeah it’s last on there list for sure. Was 3 months last game before they fixed. So I don’t expect it to be less this time. I guess they don’t care that we can’t actually play the game till they fix. So our expensive wheel and money we wasted on game has to collect dust while every one else is at least racing. Definitely not something you would expect from a big company. Not gonna be stupid and buy it next year for a 3rd time. Then I’d be the stupid one
- 11 months ago
I do not care anymore.
If they want, they don't need to release a fix, I'm done with the game and gonna finish my League Racing season with no proper Force Feedback.
I also don't expect any fix tries.
In F1 23 they didn't ignore us like that - like it all should be already "we just need to solve some steps like update the wheel"
All the players should think about paying 100€ for the game the next time - It seems like there is lack of workers for the bugs. There are just a few people who are doing the work.
Also you can recognize in the Store of the game there is lack of support for the players.
Only 4 Helmets to choose from.
When it was only Codemasters - no EA, there were a lot more helmets suits and stuff to choose from.
Just to finish - there are a lot of signs and facts, why EA is only taking our money instead of delivering.
The balance gap between price for the game and delivering for the players is already very wide.
Also not really listening to players ideas for the game and the modes
- 11 months ago
My g923 on PC doesnt have force feedback in F1 2024. I see that a fix was patched, but i can't get the FFB to work at all.everything is up-to-date also.

@Rant1588 @ryanoliver21 @ha6hk3w77mwj
Okay it's seems you can finally close the topic with low FFB.
Logitech just mentioned the Pro Wheel and the needed settings for F1 24 on the wheel itself.
There seems to be an issue with Dampener turned on at the Wheel Menu.
Recommended settings are Dampener turned OFF on the wheel.
This seems to be the final solution.
The wheel feels now more natural in FFB and behaviour if losing grip.
Here are the recommended settings for the wheel settings from Logitech.
(Last year they recommended 15 for Dampener)
This year for F1 24:
Logitech Pro Wheel
PS and XBOX
FFB Filter: 8
Dampener: Turned OFF
True Force Audio: 40
From my perspective you can adjust TF Audio a little bit down.
Also FFB Filter possible to set down until 4, depends how you like it
Hope you can now experience the game better, also try to adjust in-game settings how you prefer after trying above wheel settings.

@NormBash84 @IronGhost38 @HashbrownRolo @Rant1588 @ryanoliver21 @ha6hk3w77mwj @EA_Groguet @EA_Vendcera
I would swear on it, this Dampener turned on at the Pro Wheel ruined the FFB.
Also I expected EA have an answer for that or a response in trying it out with the Pro Wheel - but in my opinion lack of initiative from the team.
Sometimes you need to help yourself, companys are more limited than ever in time and development. Money is more important to the developers of the game.
In the 90s we didn't need to complain about so much issues and bugs with the games. Today it's different

Yeah I turned my damper off on my g pro wheel. Only way to get any feel. But it’s still not that good. I got my base at 11nm I got the in game at 130. Don’t want to crank it. Afraid for clipping. But still ffb is useless. No strength at all. Most I get is 5nm. Torque. lol. It’s says on Logitech recommended settings under consoles to put ffb at 70. If I were to put mine at 70 I would be turning wheel with my finger. I get a very flat type feel. I turned in game damper to 2. That kinda stiffened up wheel a bit. But I don’t expect any changes in my wheel for at least two months from now. I’ll post every month just basically to say I told u they wouldn’t fix any time soon. Like I said in my very first post. I dropped out of all my leagues and basically haven’t turned game on for awhile now. I just turn on when I see update to see if wheel has changed. But I’ll post in probably 2 to 3 months from now when they ea actually decide to fix. Thinking of just getting rid of my rig and wheel and stuff.
Oh I’ve also noticed in the league play that a lot of the fast drivers have all stopped showing to races like me. Think they added like a stability control to the cars handling. So looks like lots are not even playing any more. And there not even having issues with the ffb like me. I think even with ffb the game might be garbage.
- 11 months ago@IronGhost38 Yes I also noticed similar behavior.
Now for me I got the right settings and optimized it for my skills. Maybe you are right and it should be added a little bit more FFB especially when accelerating.
Now I can only redirect my final Settings without cranking the experience.
Wheel settings:
Strength: 10,5 nm
True Force Audio 40
FFB Filter between 5-8
Dampener: off
In-game settings:
FFB: 98
On track effects: 40
Wheel damper: 30-35
I also put back the in-game true Force settings to 100.
This works now best for me.
FFB after acceleration can still be fixed and optimized, that is what I am experiencing - 11 months ago
I see you have in game settings damper at 35-40. That’s crazy high. It will stiffen the wheel turn but will take away any feel for the ffb. Be careful with the damper. I’m a decent racer ok. I stream live on utube. I also win many races against very skilled drivers. I know you’re probably compensating for the lack of ffb but that is actually gonna take away from ffb. Such a high damp setting. I only did 2 in game. But I got ffb up at 130. Because game isn’t allowing the signal for ffb I’ve stopped racing though as it’s just gotten to much. Second year In a row I preordered and then no ffb. So I’ll be waiting over 3 months to play. So I just said screw it I’m done. I lose the money I spent on game. 100$. But I have no headache now. lol. I’m done with ea games period now.
No im okay with dampener 30-40. In last games I was also using Dampener and feeling good with it
- NormBash8411 months agoRising Scout@SkullyRacing thanks for the update. I've been lucky this time. Also, I don't really feel anything different with the dampener one way or the other.. I'm gonna mess with it more tonight.
I tried your settings and I don’t like the damper in game being so high. Kills all the feel. Try mine mate. I think u might like. I turned on off road effects as I usually don’t and it actually added more feel. Set your base too
11nm
damper off
7 ffb filter
tf adio 50
in game settings.
ffb 120road effects 40
rumble strips 0
off road effects 50
pit effects 50
damp 1
angle 360. On base as well. But if u like 400 better then use. Try those for quicks and get back to me on how u think it is. I added off road effects to 50 from being at 0. And for some reason it seems to get me more feel and stuff. Any ways try those settings out and let me know mate.
