Game crashes in My Team career after fp3

Hey, I have the same problem. I play on PS4 and it happened on FP3. I cannot get to the qualy session.

Refunds are not possible, almost waiting for a month to play a game i have paid 80 euros for.

just insane how poor customer support is.

unfortunately, we didn't manage to release a fix for this issue with the last patch, but the team is still working on it and we should hopefully be able to resolve this soon.

What happens when the bug occurs? After fp3 session is finished instead of leaderboards for session loading with advance options I am stuck on black screen with please wait constantly cycling in top left corner

My current driver career save file has been stuck in the state for over a week now. I cannot continue into qualifying and the game just will not load into the next session. 

I have seen multiple reports of similar/same issues to what I am currently experiencing however they do not have any informative detail. 

The save was never loaded into fp3 before this issue started, I chose to do a quick practise session as I had already completed all practise programmes. My game glitched and the X and O buttons disappeared from the screen and all I could do was move choices between “GO TO TRACK” and “QUICK PRACTISE” without starting the session. Once I reloaded my game it immediately put me on track in garage and does allow me to go out and race. I have since resolved an issue I was facing where the game had incorrectly mislabelled my resource points stating I did not complete these on screen but at the bottom claimed I had 300/300 for the session. 

I have tried every way possible to get through to the end of the session and advance to no avail. The following methods tried are as follows:

• advancing time to end session(both with and without running a completed lap)
• retiring from session(both with and without running a completed lap)
• Opening the session on game and closing to main menu then reloading save(both with and without running a completed lap)
• opening session the closing down the game and reloading game and selecting save from menu 
• opening save file from PlayStation menus(continue activity)
• simulating time then mid session save and quit then reloading save(both with and without running a completed lap)
• switching engine components and skipping repair time(both with and without running a completed lap)
• switching setups to my current car(both with and without running a completed lap)
• uninstalling and reinstalling the game, saving and uploading saves from PlayStation cloud storage 

no matter what I try to do the game will always be stuck on a black screen with please wait cycling in top left corner. The longest I’ve had the patience to stare at this screen was around 15-20 minutes before trying another method. There seems to be a serious problem as the game file allows me to load into the game and actually run laps but not letting me progress which leads me to believe the file isn’t corrupted and is an in game issue caused by something I do not know. If the file was corrupted it wouldn’t let me load it as that was a previous issue I had also.

This kind of issue feels like I’ve wasted all of my time and money on this game that I cannot enjoy a grind of a driver career. Almost finishing a season and I get hit with this kind of issue, it’s demotivating to play this game and I hope you realise how much of a bad reputation it’s causing for actual racing fans having to deal with issues like these. We pay near £100 now to play these games and it’s a complete waste if small issues like these are still in the game just over a month after launch.

I gave up and just started a new file. They have made it abundantly clear that EA just doesn’t care. They have just ignored our questions and blatantly lied about the latest patch fixing this issue when in reality they did not try anything. This whole situation has been ridiculous and some simple communication could have at least helped. I just wish they pretended to care about this game ruining bug. Quite frankly I wish I had not purchased this game.

i literally cant advance in this file what means that i cant play the game. how much time do we have to wait til the next patch arrives and fix this annoying bugs?

The fact that this issue was reported over a month ago and there’s still no fix is shocking. So many of us can’t even play the game because this save that we have put time into just doesn’t load. Isn’t it possible to identify the people facing the issue and just reset that Grand Prix weekend so we can at least continue to play the game we have spent money on….
