Game crashes when returning to mid session save

Summarize your bug The game crashes when trying to load a driver save data career after i saved mid race and exit.

Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play driver career mode, made a mid race save an exit. Then turn the consol off. Turn it on, go to the game and try to load the drivers career save data. The game goes to the Career loading screen and the game crashes
What happens when the bug occurs? The game crashes sending you to the report problems screen (CE-108255-1), after you made the report, you are sent to the Playstation home screen
What do you expect to see? You are suppoused to resume the race where you left off before the mid save.

This happnes in the Championship edition of the game. I did all the "solutions" Playstation gives to the error CE-108255-1 but nothing works, the save data doesn´t load and the game keeps crashing. The game works fine if i start a new career.

Im only getting this error in F124, all the others games i own, works fine, and load saved data without any problems. To be honest, for a company that calls itself "codemasters" you are not very good at it. 

My game exits itself everytime i try to enter driver career after i did a mid session save, anyone else having this issue?

Summarize your bug When trying to advance in any way in Driver Career in Practice 1 in China, the game crashes. This includes starting a new flying lap, driving out, retiring, exiting session, and advancing to the next session. I had a mid-session saved on the old version of the game, which I believe could be the issue as I am now playing on the new patch.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a mid-session save of practice 1 in China in driver career, or possibly any track during practice. Have it before the update when you make the mid-session save, and then update the game and then try to advance in any way and it will crash.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game will load, and then freeze and crash. When starting a flying lap, it starts counting down, and then will freeze and crash. When advancing to a new session, you can see the results of the practice session, but when you try to continue the game crashes.
What do you expect to see? The game advancing without crashing.

Game crashing in career after mid-session save was made prior to the update in a practice session. 

I have the similar issue on PC via EA App.

I saved a career in Japan - within the race. Everytime I want to load the career it crashes to desktop without any message.

The savegame got created before and now I realize the loading issue with patch 1.03. I can't say if it correlates.

Another savegame with similar content but on another track does not produce any issue.

Mis session save last night after a couple of days of working flawlessly.

Trying to load the session crashes to desktop, Jeddah FP1

I am having the exact same issue , crashing after mid-session save in fp1 silverstone! Game loads normally, but if I exit the garage, flying lap, skip or end session, all lead to ctd. Basically, I am stuck in fp1. Also,my mid-session save mentioned above was made AFTER the patch 1.3, so I don't think it's an issue from updating the game.

Hi all,

I’m trying to load a mid session save for the Miami Grand Prix. I keep trying to load the race and everytime I try to the game crashes. This is the second time it’s happened and each time I’ve had to restart the career mode. 

It’s incredibly frustrating, basically wiping out hours of playing. Not sure if anyone has had the same issue or knows of a workaround?

Same here on PS5. Trying to load a mid session save for Miami and it keeps crashing.

infuriating after putting in so many hours for the game to be unusable 

I managed to fix this issue by loading into my save then deleting the save from my files. After that I advanced to the next session in game and it worked fine from there 

I mid raced saved my game and now when I try and load it, it always crashes on Xbox
