  • Logitech g923 force feedback not working correctly it’s very loud and vibrates way too much and also cause mini screen freezes, I notice this happened when the rev lights are working but when the rev lights aren’t working the force feedback returns to normal and the screen freezes stop

    Hey @OllyJones10 and @tomgled,

could you please share some more information about what platform you are even playing on and what troubleshooting steps you've already tried?

Please make sure you've updated your wheels firmware and are using the Logitech G Hub on PC.

Additionally, something else to consider are if you are using USB extension leads or even the port on the PC wheels/pedals are plugged into.

Generally speaking, you'll want to avoid extension leads and as for ports on the PC, you'll want to plug peripherals into the back (the motherboard itself), not one of the easy-access ports on the front/top of the case.

If you need to use an extension lead or Hub, then preferably use a powered one.

A possible lack of power to the device could show itself in a lack of force feedback while still retaining other core functionalities of the wheel such as steering/button input.

@EA_Vendcera Platform is Xbox Series X.

Tried the the G hub idea you mentioned but the wheel doesn't even get recognised by g hub itself.

all leads appear to be fine and plugged in directly to ports.

seen quite a few people on here with the similar problems

FYI, my game and my G923 are all up to date and I'm still having the same issue.

@EA_Vendcera You seem to be the only EA mod who has replied to any of the G923 bug posts. Can you please provide us an update?

Our TrueForce feedback was working GREAT for the first time on an F1 game until Patch 1.5 came out. Now, we can't even play the game we all spent money on. I get with F1 23 that it wasn't built into the game and we had to have the general force feedback - but this was working already. And this isn't an inconvenience - THE GAME IS UNPLAYABLE. The general force feedback isn't even working for us.

We know you can get it working again for us, we just haven't received any feedback and don't know for how long we're going to be out of luck here. And I'm not trying to be the same person banging the same gong, but if EA can't get our G923s to work again in any capacity, that means the game is no longer compatible with the wheel and a refund should be considered. I didn't pay $70 to have a game work for me for less than a month and then be worthless due to changes EA made.

I'll ask again, PLEASE provide us with some feedback. Right now we have nothing to go on. Thank you

And it was me thinking that my wheel was broke 🤦 it seems that they have completely ruined the game for anyone playing with the g923!

EA Team should focus more to give all players access and FFB to our wheels, so we can play the game with the bugs in the game, instead of not be able to even drive.

    This should the first priority.

One thing to note regarding the track/rumble strip vibrations you can now feel/hear - this is controlled by the Trueforce Gain setting which is in the Generic Settings tab of the Vibrations settings in the game.  Reduce that until you get it to where it feels good.
