No alternative strategy giving after damage

Platform:Xbox Series X

Summarize your bug Engineer doesn't tell you to check your mfd for a new strategy, even if you fully take off your front wing.
What is your 16 digit Report Code? VVBT-BKXE-CJED-GVHG
What peripherals are you using? Please list the exact make and model. Xbox controller
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider?
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Take your front wing off on a wall/car and continue to drive
What happens when the bug occurs? Engineer doesn't come up with an alternative strategy.
What do you expect to see? Engineer to say "don't worry about the damage, check your mfd for a new strategy"

This was in GP mode, but maybe happens in others.

Still a problem post patch 1.10. It’s becoming tiresome having to write down how long each set of tyres will last, for every track, in case I need an alternative strategy. If I wanted to be an engineer, I would buy F1 manager.

Video of me taking my wing off. Engineer telling me I should stop, but then not offering the alternative strategy.
This is a 5 lap race in F1 world, but it happens at every length and mode.

Also notice how many cars in the video are still using the white/purple livery (which was meant to be fixed) It seems as if my actual in game friends use different liveries. But the random Game generated AI people are using the default livery.

This is a game breaking bug that needs fixing.
Take your front wing off and drive around.
You don't need error codes to find this bug.

@mattwells149852 I have a feeling that the community manager will have been giving an answer, but not one he can publish on a forum. Or we all will have something to quote in asking for a refund. Something like

1) We don't know what has caused it and can't fix it yet.
2) We can fix it, but it breaks something in the new driver career goals(I think those might have caused it), so won't fix it.

Or whatever it is, the community manager simply can't publish it. Not blaming them.

Still a problem after patch 1.17

I secobd this and hiw nithing was done about it. Wonder if EA devs ar paying attention at all. takes away so much from the experience
