Wet race starts - Dry tyres only

I was in career mode starting in F2. On one shot qualifying in Austria. And the weather was wet conditions. However I was forced to use dry tyres. And I couldn't switch

I was in F2 Bahrain ( I think) and I had wet tyres for a dry track and couldn't switch.

Then the game crashed while on the track.

Summarize your bug AI selects slick tyres for a wet race day, then doesn’t change off them all race. I switched for inters lap 1 and went p20 to p1. AI never adapts to the wet and puts inters on? Goes medium hard.

Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Load a wet race weekend. For me it happened at the Miami weekend in single player career
What happens when the bug occurs? Race day is shown as wet, race starts and unable to select wet tyres, I switch on lap 1 but AI stays out on slicks in the rain all race.
What do you expect to see? AI should correctly start the race on wets or inters, or at very least switch to inters during pit stops on a wet race.

AI starts wet race days on slicks. Wet tyres are not an option for the player, once player pits for inters on lap 1 the AI stays on slicks in the rain all race, making it trivial to win. I went from p20 alpine to p1.

Hello @Hybrice88 , This is a known issue and the team are currently looking into it.

Thank you for your detailed reports on these issues. 

The team are investigating a permanent fix for various problems relating to wet weather tyres being unavailable in conditions that warrant them or desynchronisation of tyre selection in online modes.

In the meantime, as a temporary workaround, the team have suggested ensuring that players select anything other than 'Casual' when choosing their Settings Filter type. This can be done in the home settings screen, shown in the top right-hand corner.



Whilst this may not fix this issue for all players, we believe this is one of the causes for tyres not being incorrect. It's also important to note that if you are mid-weekend when you make this change, the tyres may still be unavailable. The correct tyre selection may then become available at the next 'wet' race.

that doesnt make any sense bro. Need a Permanent Solution for future F1 game as well. It was there in F1 21 randomly

im on expert mode still same issue this is not a fix or a workaround

This workaround doesn't change anything...settings filter set to expert since beginning, still no wet and intermediate tyres available.
