Can we have it so we DON'T have Colapinto at Alpine? He’s already in the game in MyTeam anyway for his part-time gig at MP Motorsport so it’s not like anyone will miss him if they want to include him. And for those with taste, they don’t have to include him in their careers if they don’t want to. Everyone wins!
However, Doohan is not in the game if he’s not at Alpine as he wasn’t in F2 last year so it’s yet another driver on the chopping block of unavailability.
I expect/hope the default answer is “It’s up to Alpine to provide us with their preferred driver lineups”. And if you send the email directly to Flavio asking, then he’d never respond. So that’d be perfect.
Or if you really must cater to those that want Franco for some reason, give a toggle for the two drivers as the second driver for Alpine as it’s not confirmed Franco is permanent (although he probably will be). Or control over Driver/Team allocations. Although that’d require Jack to still be present in the game.

Colapinto runs on Alpine. Will the 25th game on PS have Colapinto?

I say we alternate who drives it but i want silverstone.
Sounds like I should be in the car by Spain then. It'll be disappointing to miss out on the glitz and glamour of Monaco, but I probably can't afford a hotel there so it's probably for the best.

They will be fine I'm sure they have a few billion options before they have to consider you 😁
Alpine is a mess. At this rate there's a very good chance both you and I could get a turn in the Alpine before the end of the year. I kinda feel sorry for Gasly having to put up with all the noise.

For those who enjoy the paddock gossip.
Doohan, as prophesied, is on his way out.
Weirdly it seems Franco is also only getting 6 races at this point.I imagine if he performs then he keeps the seat. If he doesn’t, then does Aron get 6 too? Then the best of the three gets the last 6?
I’d expect both Franco and Aron to fare better than Jack due to car improvements throughout the year but I’d say Jack is comparatively the fastest of the 3 (when he gets it all together, which he’s not done just yet) - ScarDuck144 months agoLegend

Not quite the exciting 4-team free-for-all that was promised. I'm not sure Red Bull were ever this dominant (although it's hard to tell their exact pace because Max was so good and Perez so average). Mercedes were this far ahead a decade ago but I don't see McLaren having such a prolonged stint at the top. Hopefully teams will come back at them as the season goes, I suppose. However, I think my pre-season hopes of a Leclerc title have become dust.
Looking forwards to next year. usually changing the regs results in one teams dominance, so it might be a similar story next year too, but if it's primarily based on engines being good then maybe McLaren, Mercedes and possibly even Wiliams and Alpine will be duking it out. Hopefully. Although, with growing rumours that Saudi are getting a second race for 2027 (rather than the new circuit replacing Jeddah) and America stockpiling races where they can (supposedly they're thinking about a 4th in the north near New York / New Jersey again. It was originally thought to replace Miami but clearly not anymore!) then I think track-politics might take some of the excitement out of F1 going forwards. Although that first corner in New-Saudi being like 200ft off the ground looks like drama waiting to happen.
