2026 season DLC

This is giving me F1 2014/15 vibes..... How are you only updating the old game going into a brand new season with wildly different regulations, an 11th team and a new track? The new cars will perform and handle very differently and there's no way they're putting out a brand new physics and handling model in an update..... So are we just getting reskinned cars with no DRS? 

How much are you planning on charging for this?

I wouldn't mind the alternating years really, but skipping 2026 seems like a huge oversight with the new regulations. How are they going to give us brand new cars with completely new handling models, physics, active aero, engine performance and tyre model in an update??

and if it can be done in an update, you have to question why they justify a brand new £80 game every year..... 

Perhaps that's why they didn't release a performance update this year. I reinstalled the game today and in the first free practice session I already saw that the update is needed; the AI ​​performance in free practice was mediocre. It's a shame they didn't include the 2025 drivers and liveries in F1 24. I don't have high expectations for this expansion.

It's worrying that we're only having one DLC in a year with such a huge regulatory change. Will it only be liveries and drivers? What about the new Madrid track? And the DRS? There are many questions we'll need answered.

Will it work the same as the F2 content and just be an additional tile in the menu?

Or will you have to select which season you want to play like when you loaded up F1 2015 and it included the 2014 season (because the F1 2015 game was so barebones, not because of generosity... seriously, it didn't even have a career mode!) 

As it's a paid expansion that also requires new players to purchase F1 25 as a base game, can we get an indication of the price of the DLC and will F1 25 be dropping in price to reflect the need to purchase the expansion? It doesn't seem right that new players next season will have to pay full price for F1 25 and then pay even more just to play the current content.... I would be disgusted if this update costs anything over £20 for what is potentially a reskin of the game I've already bought. 

You guys really should have provided a lot more information or just held off on the announcement until you could tell us more. It just causes uncertainty amongst the players. 

I believe this is a wise choice.

However, it would be a completely flawed plan if the existing bugs are sufficiently fixed and AI inconsistencies across tracks and weather conditions are not addressed.
Also, while I believe this will be the case, there would need to be a new Lidar Scanned Track Update.

EA, it's clear we need more information regarding the finer details of what we will be getting for F126 DLC.

As others have clearly stated there is a huge regulation change for next season and there are some genuine concerns that these may not be implemented and instead we just have new liveries and drivers etc.

I like the idea of a big reset and the implementation of a new game every two years. 

I think if there were no regulation changes in 26 then the announcement of the DLC would be less concerning. But literally everything will be different.

You need to clarify the plans to everyone.
