2026 season DLC

what does exactly mean “new cars, sporting regulations, teams, and drivers” for 2026 DLC?

I mean, I guess the game will keep the current handling etc. but what about the new engine? Is it included in “sporting regulations”? Cause it will have less power IRL, will be in the game too? And what about DRS, will be removed and changed with the new system? So the cars will have different performances?

Especially if yes, are you planning to “add” a new section meaning we may play both F1 25 as it is currently plus DLC 26 like it is now F1 - F2 etc? For example another specific Time Trial section for DLC 26? Or once DLC is installed will overwrite the game features?

Or am I going to the wrong direction meaning the DLC will just include aesthetic changes but keeping exactly the same cars performance (under the hood)?

    As far as i know EA and their sport titles, it will just be a graphic update with new season data but the handling, engine behaviour, tyre handling, aerodynamics and the new rules won't be included in any mode. It will just be a graphic and season update, of course overpriced and witzh new bugs while old bugs will be kept over and current bugs won't be fixed (i speak to you Frame Generation and EXP loss). It would be the best for any F1 fan if EA would loose the rights to make games and another developer would get a chance.

    It needs to be improved in many ways for me to buy it rather than just graphics and cars because this game has been shocking all be it they have made a few improvements it’s far from being like some of the slightly older f1 games. I know I’m not the only one that has been majorly disappointed with this game so I can’t imagine I’m the only one thinking this. 

    It needs to be one of the best dlcs ever made for me to even contemplate buying it. I REALLY REALLY hope it’s improvements with the entire game.
