AI in Career mode

Hello everyone! 
 I don’t know if it’s a bug, but during the qualifying the AI seems to have endless battery using boost mode everywhere. I finish 12th with a Ferrari (107 AI), 1.5 seconds behind, and I win the race by 10 seconds. Has anyone else noticed?

Also, do we know when the car performance update will be released, including the Macarena wing addition?
