This has been trundling around for years with people wanting this, but it's not really got anywhere near looking like it'll be included.
There was a high-spot a few years ago when you had the actual calendar and then China, France and Portugal as additionals that you could freely use or swap into career saves but they've dribbled away one a year and now we're lumbered with reverse grids. A complete downgrade which feels like the equivalent of going to prom with the prom queen and then a few years later you have an arranged marriage with your cousin with the hare-lip.
There was a poll a few years ago and the expected candidates did very well. Malaysia, Hockenheim and Turkey were the top 3. Nurburgring, Magny-Cours and Mugello got a fair few as well. I'd dare say Imola would get alot of interest if it was to be done again now.
Buenos Aires and Kyalami also got some interest due to people wanting it to be more world-wide and not a USA/Middle-East/Western-Europe centric calendar but it feels like there'd be alot more work involved in getting them prepared.
I think it'll be something they bring in when they're all out of ideas. When the Braking Point story is dried up (it might be already but i've not played it yet), the revolutions to Career and MyTeam are not enough to justify a new release and there's not a new game engine to incorporate then classic tracks and/or classic cars will be considered as a selling point. However, put it in too early and it's future sales lost.
