Unrealistic AI ERS usage / Battery deployment during cornering

Hi everyone,

I would like to report a long-standing issue regarding the AI's ERS deployment logic.
While I am currently observing it in F1 25, this behaviour has been present in several previous titles as well.

The AI often deploys ERS while still in the middle of a corner. This feels unrealistic, as drivers would normally wait until the car is properly straightened and traction is fully established before applying maximum electrical power.

At the moment, the AI appears able to use ERS aggressively through cornering phases without suffering the traction or stability limitations that a player would typically face. This can make the AI's behaviour look unnatural and may provide an unrealistic performance advantage in certain situations.

Ideally, the AI should prioritize ERS deployment on corner exits and straights, in a way that more closely reflects real-world driving techniques.

I hope the development team can review the AI's throttle and ERS deployment logic, whether through a future F1 25 update or for upcoming titles.

Thanks!

    Hey Jey85,

Thanks for taking the time to put together such a detailed report and for including the video demonstrating the behavior. We appreciate you highlighting this, along with your explanation of why you believe it differs from expected driving behavior.

We will ensure this feedback, along with the video you've provided, is passed on to the team for review. Thanks again for helping us improve the game.
