An overhaul of the handling, downforce model and throttle application
I have some serious issues with F1 22, some of them are listed below:
1. Handling is atrocious, cars have horrendous understeer everywhere
2. Cars have no grip, feels like driving on ice
3. Cars dont feel planted on the racetrack, feels like they are floating instead, overall feels like Im driving a boat
4. Downforce model feels non-existent
5. Throttle application is actually way off compared to irl F1 and actually harder than irl, which is surprising for a simcade
I have heard that a new guy at Codies is in charge of the handling department, hopefully he does a complete overhaul for F1 24 and beyond, as 23 is most likely completed already.
The fact that irl F1 drivers like Lando Norris have said using medium traction control is more realistic than no traction control, for a simcade, which is supposed to be easier than irl, is alarming. Yes I know Lando said that back in 2020 about F1 2019, but tbh, it hasnt changed much since.
