Are we sure that TC isn't on in that video? Or mods? Damage settings? In my limited time with the game this morning before work I dont see how you can drive over the curbs like that without either damaging the car, or spinning out. If people thought the curbs were slippery last year, wait until this year especially if you're on the throttle. Now I didn't run any laps at COTA so I can't say specific to this track, but heck T1, and the final turn at the Red Bull Ring just clipping those curbs were damaging my floor, or spinning me out. That little esses section before the final two turns if you take those sweeping corners and hit the curbs on the throttle you'll find yourself spinning rather quickly.
So maybe this is something to do with the settings in this video. I'll admit though I didn't get much time to test the new handling, but the cars do feel heavier, and they certainly have far less traction than last year with TC off, or even on medium. So people who weren't happy with the slippery feeling of F1 21 certainly will have lots to complain about with F1 22.
I just find this video weird, because in austria, and France I certainly couldn't drive over curbs like that without damaging the floor, or spinning. Mind you again; limited experience with the game and new handling model, and i play with a controller also. Maybe on my lunch break I'll fire up a few laps at COTA, but I've got to be careful with my time here because to me I'm not sure F1 22 is worth the purchase as of yet compared to F1 21, and the lack of save slots again this year has me strongly considering keeping my money.
