At the risk of repeating myself (though what's written on the FIFA forums doesn't count anymore, hehe... ) but I truly think that prolific, clinical finishers such as Robert Lewandowski and Harry Kane are overrated as football players. Great strikers, but not the hanger you'd hang the rest of your outfit on. As much as Lewandowski tries he can never take Poland far, in a way that Messi can with Argentina or Ronaldo has done with Portugal. And the same goes for Harry Kane: a striker is as good as the supply he gets.
And Bayern always have a relatively conservative start to their seasons. Second half of the season, it will go as smooth as a rodant's treadmill and they'll add another title, you'll see.
Probably say that about most traditional English Centre Forwards probably others but I know the English ones better. Shearer, Lineker and Teddy Sherringham for example. Without the balls into the box they ain't getting as many goals especially first 2. Sherringham adapted his game a bit. One thing different about Kane is I believe he tracks back better and is a ball winning attacker.
Haaland is possibly another example, fantastic finisher, I feel he can do more tho, but it does seem to be get the ball to Haaland and he shoots and scores maybe over time that'll change as going forward him and Mbappe will likely be a main comparison and Mbappe right now is the better all-round player while Haaland is just a goal machine.
I don't know as much regarding Lewandowski, but from what I have watched especially Poland games it was get the ball to him and hope he does something proper target man. I think I've seen most compare him with Benzema and again to me I think Benzema edges it as he better all-round player (from what I have seen) than Lewa who like Haaland is waiting for the ball to come to him.
