The game seems to be rapidly reversing the divisional changes you made. Colchester's two consecutive relegations, 3 of the 4 coming down from League One to League Two are going to where they should be, as are the relegation slots from Championship to League 1. Chelsea and Brentford in particular rising up the ranks, Wolves, West Ham likewise from the Championship. The Championship still has a way to go to be 'equalised', though.
Interesting transfer activity. I remember signing Soh quite a few years ago when he was a youngster - can't remember which Fifa it was. It'll be interesting to see if he's as well-regarded in the game as he was then. - JustinCase01109 months agoSeasoned Veteran@CO88LER5 I don't think he is. To my knowledge, his best potential was 83. And currently it's 76. Maybe that's also why he was available on a 2 year loan from Forest. His decline suits me though. I've also signed him once or twice previously, but for bigger adresses than Edgeley Park, as far as I recall. I'm not sure I could have loaned him, if he was in his prime. Splitting his wages 50/50 with Forest has also made it possible to bring him without smashing the wage structure / hierarchy.

Very solid start to League 1.
Particularly commendable result against QPR, and a good win against Portsmouth, I thought, until I saw where they were in the league...not exactly matching their real life status...
Rotherham seem to be too good for League 1 but not good enough for the Championship, in real life, and in my career, they are definitely the biggest challengers, so that's a good result, too.
Some big beasts in there, so it'll be interesting to see where you finish up. - JustinCase01109 months agoSeasoned Veteran

However, they were by far the best team in the game against me, so I do count it as the best result so far this season. Big beasts, yes, but Crystal Palace are showing early signs to copy their dull form from last season.

Curious to see if you can pull off back-2-back promotions in a year:
from League Two 30 June 2025 to The Championship by July 1st 2026.

I could be about to do that. I haven't felt any major difference from League Two to League One so far. Well, I did have those crazy 8-0, 7-0 and 6-0 scorelines, and I haven't seen those just yet. But with 4-0 at Bradford City and - spoiler alert - again vs Cheltenham Town next, it's getting hard not to expect a run for promotion. So perhaps it's ironic that I failed to win any of the cup games with League One opposition in both of them.

It's going to be the story of the season: flying high in the league, but difficult to get anything done outide of it (in the various cup tournaments).
