Player Career cant renew contract

Play the last match of Euros Group Stage in player career and the game takes me to the end-of-season page. Once I'm there all the options lead me to the current contract, where my only option is to sign with a new team. From there I have zero options, meaning I can't advance in any way.

Have you figured out how to fix it?

I have problem that at they end of your season you can change your team before going into next season and can't choose because after you signed to contract it kicks you to your home menu, same goes for if you have signed with the squad/team you want and go to end the season and on to next season the game asks you again to renew/change your team and are stuck again!! Freaking annoying and NO work around so will see if it’s a game save problem or just total brickwall and have to drop player career mode from the get go so sad….

Unacceptable is the word to use this is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!!!

i have the same problem on my end. I want to stay at barcelona but it is forcing me to choose a new club. This really suck and I am really dissapointed in how buggy the game is so far

Exact same here. Played the last game of the group stages of the euros. Go to select end season and there is only the option to change clubs, but even after that there is nothing to select.

Tried transferring before the last group game and same thing happens.

also transferring before the last group game gives the option to renew contract just after signing for the new club which ended in a full game crash.

For some reason , my player is not able to renew his contract while meeting all the requirements , honestly I'm not surprised by this issue as its EA ,  if anyone knows what the issue seems to be can you please let me know , as I'm not able to play on my player career now . This is so frustrating , you're paying for a 60 pound game that has major issues they don't seem to fckn care ,all they want is the revenue that comes in from Ultimate Team.
