Sadly don't mean much, EA has totally ignored career mode for years.. Don't trust it til Career mode works for more tan a few seasons
Hey Everyone, I've got a reply back from a member of the Career Mode Team.
They said that "they are still working with the Live Team to put the fix out in a timely manner, although they don't want to rush the update in the next Patch release as they want to make sure they get everything right."
I have asked a follow up question, I shall let you know what the response is when I get it.

If you are in direct contact with a member of the Career Mode Team, is it possible to query the prospect of bringing back pre-game walkouts/intros? There are lots of bugs floating around at the moment but it seems to me like this is a huge reason for why players have stopped playing the game mode this year. Have not seen a single positive response to this change.
I'll wait and see if I get a response back first, and when I do I shall ask them about this.

- @GeorgeSS24 That's corporate speak for "low priority". The issue has been present since launch, they've already known about it for months via the community manager in the other thread. They just don't care enough to put the requisite man power behind fixing this.

In regards to Players being Unable to Renew their Contract -
Indeed, the issue only occurs if you don’t complete all of your optional objectives. If you complete all objectives, you should be fine and have the option to renew your contract.
In their current investigation, EA have found a link with the issue - between a 'Wage Increase', the 'Optional Objectives' and the 'Renew Contract Option'. As it stands, if you request a higher wage than what you already have, and then fail to achieve all 'Optional Objectives', you won't have the option to renew.
"The system is designed to convert all the progress you make on your objectives into monetary value and we wanted to make getting a raise a more significant achievement.
Thus, in order to get an improved contract, you would need to stay true to your commitment and complete all of your objectives. However, the contract renewal option shouldn’t have been restricted to the same standards as getting a raise, which is what we’re looking into fixing."
I had also asked per @PoacherMcGeady's request, about the possible re-introduction Match Intro/Walkout Presentation. This is something that EA are conscious of after receiving feedback from the community. They haven't given an answer about a possible re-introduction, as they don't want to promise something that may never happen. But in my opinion after the feedback they've received, it is possible it 'may' make a return in the next edition of the game.
As when the issue about 'Unable to Renew Player Contract' will be resolved, they haven't given a time as to when the issue will be fixed, however they are currently actively working on the issue, and are taking their time to make sure they resolve the issue correctly.
If you're wanting to restart your Player Career again, my advice to overcome the issue at the moment, is to make sure you complete all objectives before the end of the season so you can have the option to renew. To make it easier for you, make your wage demand as minimal as possible so the objectives are easier to achieve. The other option is to wait until the issue is resolved, but be assured - they are working on it.

It's since been made aware that some people also have the 'Unable to Renew Player Contract Issue' even if you complete all objectives. If anyone has this issue, upload your screenshots here and I'll send them across to my contact in the EA Career Mode Team.
