PLEASE READ: Message about Career Mode

Hey Everyone, before I start, I'd like to say I have complete respect for all the designers, developers and team behind the game. It takes a lot of time and effort, and years of planning, developing and distribution, for a game that many players take for granted.

I've just seen the January Update notes on Trello, and it appears for the second month running Career Mode hasn't had an update to it.

Personally, it's sad to see the game's most authentic mode not having much attention paid to it. This is after hundreds of players have made the same complaints about several of the same issues, some of which are game-breaking.

To have a simple issue where I can't negotiate my contract or accept the one offered to me not fixed since the game's release, especially after the issue was picked up and passed on to developers months ago, is concerning. Forgive me for a moment, I'm not a developer or games designer, but it doesn't seem to require extensive work to fix this issue. A simple button saying, 'Stay at Club', 'Negotiate Contract', or 'Accept Contract' will do for this issue. I maybe wrong.

A vast amount of players around the world invest so much time playing this mode, but to see Career Mode issues unresolved for months especially after it was said it was picked up, then I seriously question is it the World's Game?

I had many happy times playing Career Mode in my childhood, and it's a shame that not much attention is being paid to it. I can understand Ultimate Team getting the most attention, as its the games USP, and so it should. But for players who want to immerse themselves into the life of a footballer playing for their favourite clubs, it doesn't seem fair that the mode isn't reaching its potential that we all know it can reach.

Once again, I have complete respect for all the designers. As with everything in life, the game will inevitably come across problems and errors that 'eventually' will be resolved. We can be frustrated that the issues affecting us don't get resolved, but the developers and personnel don't deserve the hate and abuse they get, especially Community Managers as it isn't their job to maintain the game.

I really do hope this issue gets resolved.
