I've played until the end of the season, got the option to renew the contract, I sign, but when the loading screen for the new season appears the game freezes and crashes.
I reloaded the save countless times with the same outcome, it crashed every time. Literally unplayable...
I have the same issue.
will EA respond and let us know whether they are going to fix this or not? I only play career modes.
I've encountered a similar contract problem, where I wasn't able to renew my contract even though I was offered more than what I requested. For my problem, I think it could either not completing all 'Optional Objectives', offering more than what's left in the budget, or a simple bug. It seems the only way to progress to the next season with your club is if you complete all the objectives. Either way we should be given the option to negotiate or accept, not be forced to move club or restart the career mode. Here's some other screenshots of others having similar problems.
It might be worth uploading a screenshot or video as it will increase the chances of this getting looked at.
Every time I look on here to see if people are having the contract problems, it seems to be more every day. Hopefully this gets picked up and looked at.
Me too EA you have to fix this I did not paye 110$ for this and I can even load to my next season it’s crash or it freezes
Some Career Mode issues are going to be resolved in the next update, including some which are more popular than 'Unable to Renew Contract'. This could mean once this update is available, this problem could be the next one they look at.
The more people who share their problems and screenshots of this issue, this may help get this resolved soon.
Potentially. Judging by some of the problems they've just fixed, which were more problematic than some Contract Issues in Player Career, problems like this maybe one of the next ones they look at.
It will take time to fix them I guess, we'll just have to wait and see.
Exactly. This area of the game definitely needs looking at as the only option I would think for the majority of players to resolve this is to restart their entire Player Career, which most people including me definitely don't want to do.
Hopefully now that they've resolved some previous issues, they now focus on the next ones including this.

I have been playing manager career mode and now I have reached the end of the 2nd season 2024 - 2025. But when I try to simulate past the 29nd of June my game crashes and shuts off.
The issue was first experienced 2,5 - 3weeks ago, but it still hasn't been fixed. I have tried to put my game on English as some people suggest, I have deleted my save and synchronized it.
Please help, is this something others experienced as well and how did you fix it?
