I've played until the end of the season, got the option to renew the contract, I sign, but when the loading screen for the new season appears the game freezes and crashes.
I reloaded the save countless times with the same outcome, it crashed every time. Literally unplayable...
Still haven’t seen issue. Has anyone found a fix?

Game crashes when i start a new career mode on the loading screen. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!
Was this ever fixed? I’ve just had this exact same
issue. Game loads fine if i choose another team from the recommended list the agent gives you, but it crashes while loading when i choose to stay in my current club.
gotta say, all those hours invested for this to happen and the issue be ignored by EA…this company is as bad as everyone says.
It is one year later and this is still a bug. Last years game I managed to contact my bank to claim the transaction as fraudulent as the product was unplayable. I decided very late into this years game to buy it, and I just completed my first season on player progress, really enjoyed it, in the Euros and looking to change clubs and I cannot find any work around this bug to go into the next season. Very disappointed in myself for knowingly buying a game from EA after almost a year of boycotting them.
my boycotting EA shall be more thorough this time.
