Cannot control players with controller

Question

I started a rivals match with my PC (I have my PS5 controller connected through a USB-C cable) and when the match started, I could not control the players with my controller AT ALL for no reason. Weirdly enough I could toggle settings after a pause but that was it. I lost the game because I couldn't do anything (which is the first time this has ever happened to me playing FC24 or even fifa23). I am very upset because I lost a game and got a penalty even though it's not my fault. Why is this happening????

I tried to post a screenshot of the game and i'm getting the message that the screenshot is too big. lmao.

I'm having this issue as well. Sometimes it will work and the player will do what I want it to do but for the most part, my players end up running away and I can't switch players or if they do have the ball, I can't do anything and they just stand there with the ball. I don't know if it's a server issue or an issue with the controller. I've changed all my settings so it should run fine but it still doesn't. Seems to work okay in rush and squad battles, just not rivals.&nbsp;
