Ea fc 24 dual entitlement for ps

If I get the cd version of ea fc for ps4 and I get a ps5 later on does it give me a free upgrade like it states? Even when I get the ps5 like in January for example will it still work? And vice versa...

    Hello @Fotobookeer,

    even the standard edition of EA FC 24 has dual entitlement - I would recommend checking on the CD packaging that it's truly the correct version, but generally speaking, all versions of the game have dual entitlement for the old and new gen of a console.

I would recommend checking the packaging and asking the staff - some third-party sellers might have a PS5-only version of the game stocked, which would then not include the dual entitlement.

@EA_Pythia no need to reply to my other comment. I see that there is an ps5 upgrade on the cover for ps4 version so thanks for the help.

    Great! Yes, the only potential version that could be sold without the dual entitlement is a "PS5-only" version. If it says from the beginning that it's for the PS4, there should always be the dual entitlement included that lets you upgrade to the PS5.

      @EA_Pythia but just to be safe the ps4 verison that has the ps5 upgrade thing, that means that i will have ps5 graphics or just entirely the ps5 game on ps5 yeah?

        If you play the game on the PS5, you can choose between using the PS4 version or the PS5 version. The PS5 version is the full PS5 game, with graphics, functions etc, whereas the PS4 version will be missing a few things, but will let you play together with friends that play on a PS4, which isn't possible with the PS5 version.
