EA Sports FC 24 Game Feedback

Here are some key issues that really need to get sorted out quickly. I'm personally losing the motivation to continue with the game and I've literally only had it for a week. 

1. Menus - are broken.

1. It's completely astonishing to me that I have to hunt around to figure out which objective I just finished. You guys (EA) should be embarrassed about this.
2. Sometimes I press 'Home' but it just stays on Play or vice versa - i.e. it doesn't work the first time
3. Transfer Market menus - even these are lagged! So I cant just flip over to the next filter (e.g. League). I have to wait a half a second for the game to catch up to where we are in order for it to process the request to "move right to the next filter". 

2. Time Wasting

1. RWW - what the hell does it mean, and why does it come up every time I open a non-player pack? Also, why cant a skip the opening sequence for non-player packs? Its such a waste of time! It honestly feels like with the menu lag, the filter lag, the animation lag,  you guys are trying a Blizzard and just 'injecting' time into the game. 
2. Why do I now have to 'hold down' the A button in order to skip the team overviews at the start of the match. Last FIFA I could just 'press a' in a split second. Who asked for this? Why is this there, other than to waste time? Revert please. 
3. Many times in game, I have to watch the ref spray the point at which a free-kick is going to be taken, or have to watch the entire sequence of a yellow card being awarded. Probably a bug. 

3. Gameplay

1. You know how many times my players fall over on the ground when they make a tackle? And when they are unsuccessful (fairly often relative to previous FIFA) the opponent just gets the ball and a free run on goal. 
2. Movement, reactions etc are generally slow, meaning than if you make 1 error on defending the wing it gets punished and is much much harder to recover from than previous FIFA. 
3. Jockeying is broken. Defenders are not defending what should be easy to defend attackers in the box with a jockey, and the opponent simply runs past them for a shot on goal. The problem here is that the game is also dishing out yellow cards and penalties like candy so if you decide to go for the tackle there is a great chance you get carded/penned
4. Fouls and cards: Second yellow on a standing tackle where nobody falls down = red card, player sent off. Need to be careful bringing the keeper out to recover a loose ball because even though you cant directly control the keeper (or at least I'm not) if he collides with the player, there is a chance he will get carded and award a pen/goal. \
5. AI is still heavily [removed]. When the opponent is tiki-taking in your box, how do YOUR PLAYERS that are just outside of the box literally just stand there and DO NOTHING - they dont even correctly mark other players. Marking in general is so so poor. I think this is a feature to make it possible for people to actually play, but its ridiculous bad. Defensive AI is horrible with defenders willfully opening a lane for attackers by moving out of positing or into an idiotic position. 
6. Its so annoying when on the rare occasion you DO have the ball in midfield, and you trigger a striker to make a run, that the idiot insists on running in a perfectly straight line, and not into the OBVIOUS gap in the defense. You can attempt to direct the run manually, but its just stupid to see the striker making the run and asking for the ball, while heading directly to towards the only remaining fullback on the defense. Its so frustrating. 
7. 71+ depth is real. I'm trying to play at 60 depth but find myself (and my AI players who have 0 ball awareness) just not closing gaps, not moving into gaps correctly and reliably, not pressing when they obviously should, so I end up going 71+ depth to resolve this problem and guess what, things are more competitive. This is really really bad, because it makes it feel like there is often only 1 way to play, and your way of wanting to or trying to play football isn't valid. It makes the overall experience quite bland, meta, and thus boring. 
8. Keepers are still unreliable. Can pull out incredible saves out of nowhere. Yet flop over a literal roll-in goal that gets tapped in. I also tried an 87 rated female goalie and regretted every minute of it. I'm currently rolling with Pickford, who is superior in every way. The 87 female is SBC fodder and I'm sure you can do a better job with them than that.

The game is really so frustrating to play, and this is disappointing because I usually enjoy the initial release of a FUT game each year. Last year and the year before it felt like it somewhat resembled football, slightly. You could strategise, try out different, non-meta tactics, and it was fun. I told myself that for me that's the best time to play - I still enjoy the "end game" but the beginning is quite pure. Not "EAFC 24" - this is a proper dog show and I'm disappointed big time. 

I also cant remember what packs were like before but the current SBC's are also just terrible. You're wanting something like 36 players averaging 85/86 in return for 1 86 player that we all know will be obsolete in a month or two. We no longer have league SBC's, which aside from a fun way to spend time in the game were also a great way to trade cards you got in packs. Everything is now geared towards buying packs (which I'm never going to do) and the options to actually TRADE cards to make money to build for your dream team are significantly reduced.

I think every aspect to this game is broken. from goal keepers to strikers from shooting to blocking shoots. its terrible and has just got worse and worse per day. Today i notice corners and crosses have changed with mostly overhit or defended really easy. From all the feedback i have seen on the forums this was not one of them yet its completely altered. 

At present non of my players have pace and even when in behind of the defence 70+ pace players are easily overtaking. Blocking shots is just ridiculous but this has been in place for years just has been more assertive now with players blocking shots from behind players and then the ball traveling in the direction it would if they were in front which is physically impossible. Passing is pointless as its much easier to pass using through balls. 

Trigger runs hardly ever happens and when does after a huge delay the aspect of picking them out is not working due to passing bugs. 

This game feels like you have got all the bad content from each series of fifa and mashed them up into one rubbish game

I still can't believe there has been no update to fix any part of this game even the slider system doesn't feel like its in affect. 

I’m in the same boat. My Yaya Touré just sits there as he looks at the striker passing him. Then when I’m in the attackers box, everyone on my opponents team seems to know what to do, while my team leaves gaps and backs away from the striker. 

Are we missing something here? 

Exactly why don't EA reply ever on anything games a joke 

This post has hit the nail on the head with the state of the game at the moment, my players falling over every time i tackle or get tackled is bang on happens every time  also my players seem to run out of steam half way thought the game but the computer players seem to not lose any of there speed or ability  on even the lowest levels. i played a mystery ball game and got the speed boast and the computer player still kept up with me even though i had one of fastest players in the game but what bugs me the most is when you run down the wing put in a great cross and there player does a over head bicycle kick clearance off the line that goes all the way to the halfway line and lands straight at there players feet, not near him or to one side of him right at his feet and he just traps it and your defenders are nowhere near him i think they must of gone for a cup of tea on the other side of the pitch and even if they are then start to run away from him before you can get control of them and it dont matter any way because unknown you they have the flash on there team and your players have  there concreate boots on so theres no point in even trying to catch him. dont get me wrong i still play this game but its the worst version for a long long time i never thought it would end up as bad as this.

Everything you said about the gameplay is very Apt. you literally can’t make a tackle in your box, the best you can do is narrow the opponents shooting range and hope your flop keeper doesn’t get beaten on the nearside post. Plus whenever I use 2 men to mark an opponent the second player legit comes to stand behind the one I’m already controlling…. Like broooooo just block the opposite direction why are we making a tackle from the same direction???????!!!!

Yooo I had Jordy alba jockeying Lukaku, he pushed the ball and beat Jordi to the ball and when Jordi got close, Jordi fell after making a tackle 😂😂 I was stunned. It’s like once you play AI on world class or Legendary you literally cap your teams performance at professional. It’s pointless. Defending in FC24 is a waste of time, just play with more forwards and focus on scoring more goals than your opponent.
