EAFC25 Career Mode WishList
Dear EA Sports Team,
I am a big career mode fan and now like every year I am very hopeful for the new game. But I feel like to post some ideas, because I am afraid of no new features for career mode. This mode has so much potential so here are the following ideas:
1. first of all and then most important thing: a new youth system! The old one is so boring and I have the same players since many years in my academy. Don’t want to have every year a Thiago Ribeiro. We need a bigger name pool and not only the region typical ones! Please give us 1-3 youth teams like U19 to u17 where every year there are new generic players. And besides that we can search in different countries for more talents. For this term we need more countries where we can search.
2. statistics! I want to see the top scorers from other leagues so I can better decide which player I want to buy. For example I have a low league 2 team and want to buy the best scorer from league 3. Another statistic wish is, that I can the in the report from the player which transfers he made and maybe which injuries he had or how many scorers he had in past seasons.
3. more realistic transfers especially from the CPU. Now the top teams have really old teams after some seasons played and then the players are really downgraded. The top teams have to buy the top players from smaller teams like in reality. So when I have a league 3 team and my striker scores 30 goals, then maybe a league 2 or league 1 team want to buy him and then the player says, that he want to leave. We had this feature in older EA games. So we have a long time motivation because every season we really have to build a new squad and react to big transfers.
4. More injuries and a list how long they are out. We already had this feature in older games. Now we have nearly no injuries during the season. This is a point which is normal in football and so there are more chances for maybe youth players when the star injured.
5. A better pre-game presentation in next gen. You guys said, that you delete it because you recognized, that many players don’t watched it. But give us the chance to decide. I want to see the old line ups combined with new cinematic cutscenes but not in every game. For example I play champions league final and then I want to see the line ups from my team and the opponent or the team photo etc.
6. the new employees for training are very good, but I want to have more positions to choose like medicine, Stadion Manager and people like that. We already had this in older games!
7. More news pictures! I like the pictures from interviews or game pictures every week.
8. We need more licenses for more realism. Please bring back some lost leagues like Japan, Colombia, chile, Mexiko or Brazil. We have the copa libertadores license but can’t play that in career mode because of missing leagues.
9. national teams! It is such a good feature that we can play as national trainer but the competitions are now really useless because we have so less teams. When you don’t have the original license, then give us back the national team with the flag as emblem and generic kits. We all want to play with our youth players in the World Cup and maybe with our Uruguay striker but we can’t because Uruguay isn’t in the game. Better to have generic national teams than no national teams.
10. Let us play more than 15 years in career mode. Make it up to 30 years or without a limit!
11. don’t really need re-gens! Bring out new generic players so that maybe there is an Austrian player which is the best in the world and not again an argentina player which has the same stats like Messi and has only an other name.
Hope that some of these features would come to the next game but the most important thing in my opinion is the youth system. Bring this to the new game and all
of the career mode players would be happy. And believe me, the career mode community is really big!
