I had the exact same issue.
I had this problem with Fifa 23 as well. I discovered that my system was still in legacy not UEFi as I had originally upgraded to Windows 10 instead of fresh installing. All my drives were still using legacy partitioning etc. Therefore TMP and secure boot were not available.
I had no problem on my laptop which is newer and only a few years old and automatically met the requirements of anticheat.
Eventually it started working on my desktop as well. I was even playing a couple of days before the early release of FC24.
I had no such luck with the new game though. It would go to the splash screen then disappear. My computer would become dead silent. The fans would be idle even though the game was supposedly running (as seen in task manager)
I tried every fix
- TPM 2.0 is set up
- Secure boot is on (tried standard and custom)
- tried running everything as administrator
- reinstalled certificates for anticheat
- uninstalled anticheat and reinstalled while nothing was running
- uninstalled and reinstalled the game
- verified game files
- reinstalled game on another drive
- disabled every startup app possible
- made sure no other applications were running when loading the EA app and the game
- installed every driver and update
- ran numerous file checks
- uninstalled graphics drivers and reinstalled
- uninstalled a number of unused applications
- tried disabling firewall (although everything was already allowed through)
I ended up reinstalling windows with a fresh install.
Did every update possible once installed. Installed the graphics drivers then installed the EA app only.
The game is now installed and working.
I don't yet know exactly what was interfering with it previously but I am going to reinstall things one at a time to test.
The fact that it worked on my laptop leads me to believe that there was some software, registry or file issues that were causing problems with the anticheat service.
If I get to the root of the issue I will post again.
