They banned a significant number of PC players who played yesterday because their 💩 anti-cheat system mistakenly detected their own errors as cheating or bug abuse. There was an XP/OBJ/EVO bug yesterday where players could score three own goals, get kicked, and still earn 15 XP and complete FUTTIES objectives and evolutions very quickly.
I played Rivals and didn't know what was happening, but I got free wins, so I was just happy and didn’t think much about it. After getting my 7 wins, I closed the game and switched to the web app to grind PP's. Two hours later, I received a ban notice: "Your account has been disabled. Due to a violation of EA's terms of service, your account has been permanently blocked from this product." I immediately went to Twitch and saw that many people had been banned and it was only PC players. I haven't seen a single Xbox or PlayStation who spammed this bug getting banned.
The fact that EA’s 💩 anti-cheat system detected this as cheating or bug abuse, while many players were just playing normally and didn't know what was happening is crazy... they gotta unban all!
