I can read some confusion here, and I want to clarify it.
You can find both versions of Icons in packs, so as an example, you may find either Zico Base or Future Stars' version.
This will happen again with new campaigns involving special Heroes/Icons Items.
Hi, So I opened the Future Stars 400k pack, which I would assume to have a Future Stars icon as well; I opened it and got Future Stars Endo but a BASE icon Steven Gerrarrd, who also has a Future Stars promo card. EA can I get some compensation?
I know it doesn't, but remember, Gerrard has a promo card that is out in packs; during Team of the Year, you cannot pack, for example Base Zola, Matthaus, or R9 because they have a promo card in packs. If you were to pack Zola, Matthaus, or R9 it would be their Team of the year card. Not the Base icon
Same with me I opened a pack at 9.20pm I got seedorf but not the future stars he's base I'm trying to get ea support to help
I’ve been trying to contact EA but they don’t care enough to even check, let me know how your case goes
UPDATE: It seems just like how much the EA employee you are speaking to gives a F, the one I talked to yesterday said he'll "let the technical support team know", (I know he did jacksh*t) I just talked to another one and at least this one is checking what I actually got in that pack.
I just packed base maldini tradable, this is absolutely mental if you can pack base cards when a promotion is out it's a scam
