Banned for 1 word in chat

@theonlyon32Oof full on banned from all ea titles for what some may deem a mild term.

Unfortunately despite being a general insult term, it's categorised under a hate speech term. And obviously acts of hate are pretty big and taken very seriously in todays climate. Feels potentially a bit a extreme and I hate cancel culture. Unlucky

Tho I'm sure you can probably be on the receiving end of other hate words/phrases and the person go unpunished.

This is just sad.

Two wrongs do not make something right. 

No one and I do mean No one should have to be on the receiving end of abusive language.

Ignoring them, muting them and reporting them would have been what you should have done.

However by stooping to their level and calling them the name you called them is and was a serious breach of the ToS that you agreed to. 

You will have to live with the choice you made. 

Please note we cannot assist with account actions or bans here on AHQ for that you will have to contact the ToS team, however I do not think that will help you in light of word you used. 

I play on this account for 7=8 years now, I've been a yearly customer even if the games were bad, and let's be honest in last years FIFA and now EA FC are worst than ever before, full of developer mistakes and glitches, lags and stuff like that, I still buy it and play. For 7 years I've never broke rules and on my first mistake, I get permanently ban, not a warning, a suspension, or chat mute something normal like other games do and it's more fair to the player that has been a customer for years. During that time I encountered cheaters, flamers and toxic people and I've reported many of them and all I received was messages with " we didn't take action at this time..." how is this fair ?. Also I've made many tickets with real problems and giving details and photos in my emails to the customer service to receive only ai generated responses, feels like they don't even read them, and of course the problems weren't solved. Again I know I've done wrong, but the punishment it's way too harsh on my first strike, first mistake in 7 years guys.  All I got in response after making a case for myself and giving information was 1 sentence from support that has not even relevance to what I've wrote .

Yep, the game is full of cheaters since it's release, also last year, invisible players, glitches, disconnects and stuff like that. Problems that go on for months and are still in game, somehow on my first mistake I do not get a warning, or mute, suspension something normal and some understanding from the support, I get permanent ban on 1 word in chat. I've contacted the support team, but I have 0 hopes because when I've had problems with the games, and I was missing stuff that I payed for i received 0 help, same ai generated texts. Well this is how you lose an childhood account because some rules are way too broken. Most games as I sayed gives you warning, flags, chat restrictions , mute in game and in the worst cases suspension or ban, EA sports decided somehow the best solution is a permannt ban directly. Amazing choice.
