Can not get online to EA servers on PS5 as account link does not work

I am having a nightmare in trying to get a very simple request and opening a case link simply loops you around the EA site. I can not even find the chat function to raise the issue and I can not believe how BAD the experience in trying to get help really is with EA. 

All I need is someone to link my PS5 account properly as I can NOT get online to EA servers. When I try and link the account again it says: 

Your accounts can’t be linked because your PlayStation® Network account jawman001 already linked to your EA Account for 5e*****@disabled.ea.com. An EA Account can only be linked to one PlayStation® Network account in its lifetime.

So ANNOYED as forums seem to suggest to reach out to chat help and it does not work
